SMS Terms

1. Who sends these texts
Text messages described here are sent by Wednesday Table, LLC ("Wednesday Table"). Our texts, including sign-in and confirmation codes, are sent through our messaging provider, named in our Privacy Policy, from numbers we use for Wednesday Table. These SMS Terms are part of our Terms of Service and are read with our Privacy Policy.
2. Two programs, each with your own consent
Sign-in and confirmation codes. When you give Wednesday Table your mobile number, you consent to receive a one-time code by text to sign in or to confirm that the number is yours. One message is sent each time you ask for a code. Signing in by text is one of the ways we offer.
Game notifications (the "Wednesday Table Game Notifications" program). You decide what you hear about. Wednesday Table tells you only about what you have chosen to follow, such as events you sign up for or join the waitlist for, the kinds of events you ask to hear about, messages from your clubs and leagues, and messages from the director of an event you signed up for. If you also turn on text notifications, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Wednesday Table about those things, such as reminders, changes to an event, a seat that has opened for you, new events that match what you are looking for, and notes that a club, league or event you are part of has sent you a message. You can change what you follow at any time.
Every text is written by Wednesday Table. Clubs, leagues and other players cannot send their own words to your phone. Texts are never turned on for you, and agreeing is not a condition of playing on Wednesday Table or of buying anything. Message frequency varies with what you follow.
We do not send marketing texts.
3. Cost
Wednesday Table does not charge for text messages, but message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
4. Stopping
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. If your sign-in codes come from the same number as your notifications, replying STOP stops both; reply START to that number to receive texts again, and you can always sign in another way. You can also turn text notifications off in your settings at any time.
5. Help
Reply HELP to any message, or email director@wednesdaytable.com.
6. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We send texts only to mobile numbers in countries where we offer texting, and your settings show whether it is available where you live.
7. Your number and your consent
We never show, share or sell your mobile number. Your club's leaders, the host or director of an event, and other players never see it, and we do not share it or your text-message consent with any third party or affiliate for marketing or any other purpose. The only company that handles your number is the one that delivers our texts and sign-in codes, and only to deliver them. Wednesday Table's own administrators can see it to support you. 8. If you are in Canada
Where we offer texts in Canada, we send them only with your express consent. Each text identifies Wednesday Table, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP or in your settings. Texts may come from a Canadian or a US number. Our Privacy Policy says where your information is kept.
9. Changes
If we change these SMS Terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by text or email, and ask for your consent again where it is needed. The date at the top is kept current.
